Meanwhile Space occupied this former sandwich shop on Exmouth Market in mid 2011. Over 4 months we hosted projects looking for space from a week to a month, all offering a range of services and business ideas. Due the central location the space was a fantastic opportunity for start-up businesses to promote their services at a low cost to an area with high footfall. Ideas ranged from mini markets of designer goods, a school for modern day etiquette, photography festivals, a pop up history shop and gallery space. The shop had been empty for 3 months before Meanwhile Space reopened the space and is now a bicycle shop.
