Willesden Green

Queens Parade in Willesden Green launched in March 2012 as part of the Outer London Fund Project, New Windows on Willesden Green. Meanwhile Space worked with The Architecture Foundation and Blue Consulting to put out a call looking for new businesses and ideas to fill the eight vacant units. Just two months after opening its doors, Queens Parade was voted by Time Out readers as one of nine best shopping locations in London, and still continues to hit headlines. Offering something a bit different from existing businesses in the Willesden Green area, all spaces offer community workshops and skill exchanges.

Elephant and Castle 

As part of the regeneration of Elephant & Castle, the old shopping centre will make way for a new development. Meanwhile Space in partnership with the London Borough of Southwark have transformed in indoor car park at the bottom of Perronet House into a lively retail arcade which will rehouse several of the long-standing traders from the shopping centre. Designed by Carl Turner Architects, who are also behind award-winning Peckham Levels, the arcade provides 10 retail units and a large cafe space, housing shops for the daily needs of local residents, and the wider business community around Elephant & Castle
