We're looking for people-focused problem solvers - a project manager and a project director (maternity cover)

About the roles:

Our project directors and projects managers are the lead contact for our clients, tenants and stakeholders, including projects such as Blue House Yard, Tripod Brixton, Central Parade and Place/Ladywell.

Project Managers:

Playing a pivotal role in winning, planning and carrying out initiatives on a range of projects. Accomplishing project objectives by planning project activities; evaluating, implementation and progressing of projects at all stages of the project life cyle. Communicating with a variety of people and making sure projects stay on time and on target. You will demonstrate active listening, coaching, decision making, outstanding interpersonal communication, judgement, management of financial resources, monitoring, persuasion, resource management, time management, client and stakeholder relationship management, vision leadership, enthusiasm, results driven, disciplined, prioritisation, problem solving skills.

Project Directors:

Supervising a wide range of projects with responsibility for the delivery and overall success of each project at a strategic and tactical level. This role is expected to align the project approach, deliverables and programme with the organisational goals and targets. The Projects Director role is a key member of the senior management team, responsible for supervising project teams to deliver exemplary Meanwhile projects and consultancy, and inform Executive Directors on progress and performance.

You will be an experienced and efficient leader, with excellent people skills, business acumen with a strategic ability and exemplary work ethics. Showing a thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods, working knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics, outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting, outstanding organisational and leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities

Main Tasks Project Manager

  • Work on location on average 50% of the week, throughout London (and South East England on occasion), responding to the demands of our multiple projects.

  • Work on all aspects of a project from idea to completion including bid writing, promotion and marketing of the spaces, recruitment of tenants, tenant management, and facilities management of the sites.

  • Create and deliver project goals and operational plans, overseeing quality control throughout, and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.

  • Identify resources and assign responsibilities - seek out, recruit, interview, and hire individuals/external organisations who are qualified to work on the project

  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).

  • Take the lead in tackling unexpected problems

  • Coordinate with other parts of the company and outside suppliers, contractors, and clients, to make sure everyone has the same expectations and understanding of the project's parameters, coaching where required

  • Prepare promotional presentations

  • Document the evaluation of projects, including collection of impact assessment data and applications for recognition awards.

  • Lead project team meetings, dealing with personnel issues within the project team and taking steps to help or remove people who fall short of expectations

  • Oversee multiple project budgets, looking for ways to cut back on project expenses and increase the potential for surplus, making changes to increase efficiencies

  • Keep company leaders informed by preparing project updates and presentations that showcase a project's value and status including business cases for expenditure

  • Participate in educational opportunities to stay up to date on required project management methodology, leadership techniques and industry standards

  • Stay familiar with the company’s policies and goals and work to make sure that all members of the wider team adhere to set standards
