Meanwhile in Stoke Newington opened in December 2012 as a collaborative project between Meanwhile Space and East London Furniture, and was supported by Hackney Council. Transforming a former furniture shop on Stoke Newington High Street, the space has created opportunities for creatives in Hackney to showcase their work, access affordable studio space and join inspiring workshops. We had an amazing programme of pop up activities including French Cabaret, Life Drawing, book binding workshops, hand made crafts and cassical music performances.
