Meanwhile Space CIC have moved to Whitechapel with our new project transforming an empty retail unit into a creative hub for artists, social entrepreneurs and local people interested in meanwhile. Our landlords, Workspace Group have agreed to a meanwhile lease while they find a permanent tenant for the space.

Working with New Deal for the Mind, this new collaborative shop is located close to Brick Lane and has amazing transport links making it a high profile venue for piloting projects and spreading the news about the meanwhile concept. Meanwhile Whitechapel will be hosted by Meanwhile Space CIC and will run for two months. We are especially pleased that our programme of activity includes workshops from Out of the Ordinary who are launching in the space and will be a permanent presence.

As well as a venue for events and learning, Meanwhile Whitechapel will offer temporary office space for sociall enterprises and local entrepreneurs. There is space available on a full time basis or a drop in rate meaning you can immerse yourself in the activity while working on your own business.
