Meanwhile Space CIC launched their online forum in 2009 to act as a virtual platform for discussion and debate around the concept of meanwhile. The forum became the place for individuals and projects to share ideas, tips and promote their own empty space programmes.

In 2011 the forum attracts over 900 members from all over the world with members from 18 countries all delivering versions on the meanwhile project.

The ning forum has become a meeting ground of like minded people and a source of evidence demonstrating the positive impact of animating empty space.
